JSON Formatter & Validator
Paste JSON, get it pretty-printed, minified or checked - locally in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

What this does
- Format: re-prints your JSON with clean indentation so humans can read it.
- Minify: strips all unnecessary whitespace for the smallest valid payload.
- Validate: checks the syntax and shows the browser's error message when something is off.
- Everything runs on your device - pasted API responses and config files never leave the tab.
Is my JSON sent to a server?
No. Parsing and printing happen with the JSON engine built into your browser. Close the tab and the text is gone.
Why does it say my JSON is invalid?
Common causes: trailing commas, single quotes instead of double quotes, or unquoted keys. JSON is strict - the validator message usually points at the first problem spot.
